Great shot sent in by one of our loyal followers. Pacific  Princess , Sea Hawk and MJ Souza tied up in Samoa . Loved all three of these seiners in San Diego. Wish the Pacific Princess still looked liked this , but thats why i run this page to remember the good old days. Im guessing this is early to mid 80s. Send in your pictures to [email protected]

One of my shots i took, Claudia B and Aquarius at G street . Two great Martinac seiners . Claudia B was originally the Trinidad . I believe both seiners were built in 1971.  Wonderful seiners big part of San Diego’s Tuna fleet.  Send in your photos to [email protected]

One of my favorite seiners, Bold Contender definitely top 5 if not my favorite. Really would love some photos of this rig, I’ve had guys email and say they have pictures of this seiner but they never send them in. I even had one guy say I’m looking at a picture with this boat and a chopper which is totally a rare picture but still nothing. Would love some help guys , please send your pictures in to [email protected] .

Wonderful seiner Odette Therese , in this photo its docked at Broadway Pier . Built by Martinac in 1980. Please send your pictures in. We really need your help if i received just one photo from everyone over the years that said they had photos i wouldn’t have to keep asking. So come on just send them in [email protected]

This may not be the greatest picture but i dare someone to come up with a better shot of the classic Westgate seiner Carol S. To think those seiners were at one time the top dogs , and a huge part of this fleet. I would ask for you to send in your pictures but what the hell. i know you won’t. LOL [email protected]

Capt MJ Souza in Samoa back in its American days . Recently sold to a New Zealand company and i believe it is know in process of being sold to a Portuguese company and possibly headed too fish in the Atlantic. Great family boat in the days owned by Mr and Mrs Frank Souza , had lots of great fisherman on this Rig. I want to personal thank Jimmy Santos Jr for sending in this wonderful photo. He’s Father was a huge part of this seiner for years among others. Please check your your house we know you got pictures send them in . [email protected]

Tuna seiner Queen Mary, classic boat in the fleet. Docked at B street with the Rose Ann Marie in the stern . Thought i would mix it up a little, Seiner unloading at Westgate bacon the day. Im guessing around mid 70s. Anyway thought it was different.
