Yes, that was my father's favorite boat to skipper, but as far as I know, he never ventured into the Western Pacific. He preferred the Eastern Tropical Pacific, the Galapagos Islands, and sometimes went as far west as Hawaii back in the 1970's.

That's Bream's Head the entrance to Wrangei on the North Island New Zealand. The shipyard is there.
